We listen, act, and transform
Hi, I'm LaTonya Whipple, a Licensed Psychologist, and I'm honored you're here.
Life can be overwhelming, especially when you're navigating major life transitions, carrying the weight of childhood experiences, or struggling in your relationships. If you've been feeling stuck, disconnected, or simply exhausted from trying to figure it all out on your own, you don't have to do it alone.
I believe healing begins when you have a safe space to tell your story without fear of judgment. My goal is to create an environment where you feel heard, seen, understood, and accepted exactly as you are. Together, we'll explore the experiences that have shaped you, identify patterns that may no longer serve you, and build practical tools that help you move toward the life you want to create.
Our first few sessions are about getting to know you. This is your time to share your story at your own pace while we begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. I want you to leave those first sessions feeling hopeful, inspired, and confident that healing is possible—and knowing you have someone walking alongside you every step of the way.
My approach is patient, gentle, compassionate, and deeply rooted in understanding. I know that everyone's journey is different, so I meet you where you are with curiosity, empathy, and respect. Rather than focusing on what's "wrong" with you, we'll work together to recognize your strengths, honor your experiences, and uncover the resilience that's already within you.
One of the greatest joys of being a psychologist is witnessing the incredible transformation that happens when people begin to believe in themselves again. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing my clients use the skills we've developed together outside of our sessions and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. Watching them grow into the person they've worked so hard to become is an incredible privilege. I celebrate every victory with my clients because I know how much courage it takes to heal. And when they reach those milestones, I love being able to say, "You did it."
Wherever you are in your journey today, I'd be honored to walk alongside you as you take the next step toward healing, growth, and becoming the version of yourself you've always hoped to be.
